What's Happening in the Foothills?
House borders N.
Horseshoe Bend Road then a Park behind that molds into
the Foothills. There is hardly no traffic on Horseshoe
Bend Road and it is completely invisible with the fenced
backyard and trees. The foothills behind the house
are on BLM land and there is no word at all about turning over
to any developers or any subdivisions ever going in. They are building a community water tank on
top of the hill and a Velodrome & Cycling Park down the street
which will be completed by April of 2008. Once the water
tank is in, the construction equipment should disappear
from the hill. The
trees in the backyard makes the tank completely out of view of the house
and the Park will be south of the house on N. Horseshoe Bend
road and should be completely out of site.
Also, there is a great walking trail in the foothills,
right behind the house. The trails are a complex set of
trails and you can walk all the way to Bogus or anywhere
else you choose.
Eagle Sports Complex
Horseshoe Bend Road (Old Highway 55)
 When
you look at the patio door of the house, this is the park
that you see behind you but the trees and back fence block
almost all of it out. Skateboard
Park is a 12,500 square foot Skate Park located at Goose
Creek Road/Horseshoe Bend Road. The Skate Park was a joint
effort by the City of Eagle and Ada County and is the first
phase of an 85-acre park development. Restrooms and a
concession stand are available.
Idaho Velodrome and
Cycling Park (IVCP)
 Southwest
Idaho’s premier cycling facility. The Idaho VeloPark
Committee has finalized site selection and in partnership
with the City of Eagle, Idaho is in the design phase of this
leading, World Class facility. This comprehensive
multidiscipline bike park will be located at the Eagle,
Idaho Sports Complex on 20 acres. This park should be out of
site and will be located more towards Floating Feather and
N. Horseshoe Bend Road. Expected completion April 2008.
